My e-mail is swarmed with people asking me why BEER… why not TEQUILLA as others may prefer… or even VODKA… GIN kaya…

Well folks… I will let you in a little secret… (not a secret anymore, obviously)…

You see… Unlike tequilla, beer is accessible. Cheap if I may be blunt… You have to have 400 bucks just to have a taste of Jose Cuervo while you can buy beer in the nearest, most popular… 7/11 store with just 30 bucks in your pocket. How cool is that? My point is… you want to get wasted… and you have to spend 400 pesos just so you could vomit and swear not to drink again? Where’s the fun in that? Having a good time doesn’t have to be expensive… Oh and another thing… P400 can only afford 500ml of tequilla? Huh? MALALASING ka ba nun?

TEQUILLA… yun nga lang, NO HANGOVER. Naks! Tsaka… I miss the RAYMUNDO Girls whenever I drink Tequilla… and the Math 37 Exam I topped because of that? Imagine? Drunk the other night and topped the exam the next day… Ate Nalce, Ate Ayrin, Lani, Ate Liza, Ate Icar, Ate Angeli, Ate Joy… Nakakamiss kayo.

VODKA. Hmmm, masyado din namang strong ang vodka para sa BATANG katulad ko. Although a friend once taught me that VODKA is better mixed with juice… when it is freahy refrigerated. Nagiging viscuous ang liquid at mas masarap inumin. Why not VODKA? Simple lang… I’m waiting for this person to share it with… Thanks for the tip Eva.. I won’t drink the damn thing without that special person… Madami kasing memories… Mas maganda to share it with them.

GIN. Kung HIGH SCHOOL friends ko ang kasalo ko sa Vodka… 845 Ganda Girls naman ang kasalo ko sa GIN. Parepareho kasi kaming walang pera. Nyahahaha! Pero masaya din… I miss the rooftop where we have gone from sane… to not sane. (Hehehe). Why not GIN? May pera pa naman ako… Pag wala na… why not?

BEER. You can drink without friends… buy without company… watch tv and savor the fermented wonder that has gotten to every belly of college and high school students… tsk tsk tsk… Now I really have to get drunk… Or I might be sober forever…
