I’m bored. I’m drained. I’m branded. In days like these when all you got is tons of plan to work on and no social life. You tend to ask yourself… Did you really ask for this? Maybe you did.

I believe I did. I always picture myself getting busy at work… spending closing time and be the one to lock up… Even pretend that I have a car waiting for me to drive to a nearest 7/11 or Mini-Stop and have a very lonely dinner…

Or better yet… Get some groceries in the nearby supermarket… go home to my seldom inhabited apartment… then enjoy the silence, watch a bit of TV… feel the rain outside… hug myself… yearn for warmth… then suddenly…

PRINCE CHARMING walks in… soaking wet… smile at each other. You reach for the towel in the cabinet, you wipe him dry with all the love you feel inside… He hugs you back… He tells you about his day… You tell yours…

He says he’s famished… you want to say you’ve eaten… Not before you had a glimpse of the dinner he brought… You set the table… Dinner is served.
